What We Found

The Situation

When we arrived at this commercial office in Malvern, we found that water had been leaking down behind the sheetrock walls. After removing the damaged sheetrock, we discovered severe mold growth throughout the ductwork system. Looking inside the flexible duct lines, we could see buildup and contamination along the inner walls. The ceiling-mounted round vent openings in the drop ceiling showed dark staining and mold around the edges. We removed all the square vent covers from the ceiling and laid them out on tarps for cleaning. Air movers and drying equipment were set up in the offices to help control moisture during the work.
